September Favourites

Hiya lovelies!

Here are my September favourites, in all their glory, for you to see :)

Left to right, top to bottom:

  • Bourjois Magic Nail Polish Remover - although it does take longer than '1 second' as advertised, I do really like removing my nail polish using this! It does get the polish off quicker than using cotton wool and normal remover, and leaves my fingers smelling nice :) I know there's a Poundland dupe for this, so will be on the lookout for that!
  • Estee Lauder 'Pleasures Bloom' perfume - More of a Summery fragrance, but I've really been enjoying this one this month! It's really light, floral and feminine and is perfect for everyday wear.
  • Maybelline Colour Tattoo in 'Eternal Gold'
  • Real Techniques Buffing Brush (Core Collection) - my new favourite foundation brush! Ever since I got this, I've been using it everyday and love it! It applies both my Revlon Colorstay and my Garnier BB cream amazingly :)
  • Real Techniques Base Shadow and Deluxe Crease Brush (Starter Set) - I love all the brushes in the Starter Set but these are my favourite, they work so well together and I've been using them everyday since I got them!
  • Maybelline Mono Eyeshadow in 'Chocolate Chic' - a rediscovered product that has become my go-to crease colour for any neutral eye look! I even reach for this over some of the shades in my Coastal Scents palettes! It's soft, pigmented and easy to blend and doesn't crease when using a primer or cream base (it does on its own though, like most eyeshadows!)
  • Estee Lauder Lash Primer Plus - I got this sample size when I bought my moisturiser and I've been loving this! It creates an excellent base for my mascara and allows me to create the same volume as I usually do with just normal mascara but using less of the product. If it wasn't so expensive I would probably buy the full size, so I just need to use this sparingly and wait for Christmas!
  • Estee Lauder Lipgloss in 'Simply Pink' - another sample I got when I bought my moisturiser and this is the cutest lipgloss ever! It's got no shimmers in (which I think makes it more wearable), and is just the perfect everyday shiny pink - love it :)
Thanks for reading! What are your favourite products this month?

August Favourites

Hello lovelies!

Here are some products I've been loving in August :)

Top to bottom; left to right:

John Frieda Sheer Blonde Moisturising Conditioner - Got this as a treat for myself (and my hair!) a couple of weeks back and now I remember why I love the Sheer Blonde range from John Frieda! I try not to use it every time I wash my hair as I want to use it for as long as possible however when I do use it, my hair feels softer, shinier and moisturised. I love it!

Garnier Oil Free BB Cream - This is rapidly becoming my most worn foundation, it's amazing! It's lightweight but gives amazing coverage. I've written a full review on it here so check that out if you want to see what I think in more detail :)

Lily by Stella McCartney eau de parfum - I recently got this while on holiday with my family and I love it! The scent is so light, fresh and easy to wear day or night.

Estee Lauder Lip Gloss in Rock Candy - Also recently hauled this, my aunt gave this to me as she got it as a freebie (she spends a lot at Estee Lauder!!) and didn't want it. I haven't been into gloss much recently but I absolutely love wearing this over MAC Hue and Estee Lauder Crystal Baby! It's such a pretty gloss, and it smells so nice too. The formula is great, it's non sticky and lasts for ages!

Revlon Lip Butter in Peach Parfait - recently rediscovered this and have been loving it recently. It's a great natural dark peachy colour that just looks so pretty on the lips!

MaxFactor Creme Puff Powder in Translucent - another rediscovered product! My Rimmel Stay Matte powder is currently too light for me as I've been on holiday so started using this one again and love it. The colour matches me perfectly and the formula is great and keeps my skin from looking oily for hours!

Essie 'Cute As A Button' Nail Lacquer - only bought this this month too but have been wearing it non stop! It's such a perfect summer colour and the formula is amazing. I won't go on about it too much as I have a full review here so check that out if you want to know more!

Thanks for reading! What have you been loving this month?

July Favourites

Here's some of the products I've been LOVING in July!

Left to right, top to bottom;

OPI Nail Lacquer in 'You Callin' Me A Lyre?': this is the perfect natural nail colour and I've been loving it to wear on my fingers! It looks just that little bit better than your natural nails but has a great shine and lasts ages without chipping!

MUA Heaven & Earth Palette: I've only just bought the infamous Undressed palette and although I love it the couple of times I've used it, I've been using Heaven & Earth more this month :)

Papaya Body Butter by The Body Shop: this smells so good! It's so lovely to smooth over my legs and arms after I've showered as it leaves my skin feeling moisturised and smelling amazing! I definitely love this stuff more than my FCUK whipped body cream
I showed in my June favourites!

Colgate Advance Whitening Toothpaste: bit random, but this stuff actually works so thought if share it with you! My teeth are genuinely whiter since using this, although it took about 3 weeks to see the difference, I still think its worth it!

MAC Lipstick in Hue: I recently reviewed this so for a full review you can check out that post however I've been wearing this a lot since I got it at the beginning of July, I find it's formula to be perfect, creamy and long wearing and have grown to love the colour! So happy I bought this :)

Vitamin E SPF 15 Lip Balm by The Body Shop: this lip balm is very moisturising and has SPF protection which I think is fantastic so it's a holiday makeup bag essential for me!

Simple Clear Skin Oil Balancing Face Wipes: I love simple makeup wipes and when I saw this variety, meant to help oily skin I thought I better give it a go and I love them! I've barely had any break outs this last month and I think these have something to do with it. They get off all my makeup and leave my skin feeling fresh and clean :)

Thanks for reading! Sorry my favourites are a little late this month.

June Favourites (& Blog Hops!)

Sorry for the gap in posts, I've had a few busy days, and also I'm off on holiday on Wednesday so posts may stop for that week sorry!!!

Another note, I've joined Mimika's Beauty Blog Hop (see here) and BBU's Blog Hop (see here) and so far I've already found some great new blogs and gained some more followers! So check those links out if you're interested in joining :)

Anywayyy; on to my favourites for the month of June!

Left to right, back row to front row:

Batiste Dry Shampoo (XXL Volume shown in photo) (here): I have tried most of the versions of this dry shampoo and love them all! I'll be honest, the XXL Volume shown one isn't my favourite, but I go through these so quickly and I wanted to include them in my favourites even though this is the only one I currently have. They all smell lovely, and any oily or greasy hair just disappears - it's amazing!

FCUK Polished Whipped Body Cream (here):  I've had this for a while, but since the weather has been relatively nice the last couple of weeks, I've been showing my legs more and this body cream just leaves them so soft and moisturised for hours and smells so lovely!

Tres Emme Thermal Recovery Hair Treatment (here): I got this about a month ago when it was half price which I thought was a bargain and I think it's great! My hair isn't in amazing condition, I colour it and tend to use heat on it however after using this my hair is noticeably softer and not as dry.

Garnier Pure 3-in-1 Wash, Scrub and Mask (here): I love love love this! Used it for a few months now (I've repurchased it maybe 3 or 4 times?) and it's amazing. It can be used as a wash, scrub or mask which is great and has salicylic acid in to help redness and acne. I love this as a scrub as it's not as gentle as some others I've tried so I actually feel like it's helping my skin, however if you have very sensitive skin that may not be good. I also love it as a mask as my face feels clean afterwards and more refreshed :)

Collection (Formerly Collection 2000) Lasting Perfection Concealer (here): This is raved about among UK bloggers and youtubers so I had to pick it up to see what the fuss was about and I have to agree that it's really good for a drugstore concealer! It covers anything including spots and dark circles and has great staying power :) at just over £4 I don't see how anyone can go wrong!

L'oreal Rouge Caresse Lipstick in Dating Coral (here): This shade is perfect for summer, I love it! This lipstick has better staying power than the Revlon Lip Butters but are just as creamy and moisturising on the lips.

Benefit Porefessional (here): I recently bought Glamour magazine and got the little sample size free and loved this so much, I recently purchased another copy of Glamour (only £2) to get another sample to take on holiday! This feels so silky on the skin and does visibly reduce the size of pores! It's also oil free, which it good if you have oily skin like me, and seems to increase the staying power of my makeup! :)
